About me

I work as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Psychotherapist. I worked in the NHS for over 30 years and currently train junior doctors in how to work with patients psychologically. I have a private practice working largely online with patients from 17 years upward.

My work tends to be with those individuals who are in positions of responsibility, and who are intelligent, but who for a variety of reasons are emotionally vulnerable. I am a psychiatrist who works as a psychotherapist and Jungian analyst for those who may need psychological treatments.

Areas of interest

Complex psychological and psychiatric problems resulting from:
Trauma and abuse, neurodevelopmental dysfunction leading to anxiety and depression, stress in the workplace, disability;
Mental health problems related to employment tribunal proceedings;
Educational and employment problems as a result of anxiety and depression;
Assessment of difficult to treat patients with a history of personality disorder or bipolar illness
