About me
Unfortunately, I am unable to take any new referrals as I am at full capacity.
I provide psychological services to adults who might be experiencing some form of emotional distress, offering a confidential, inclusive and collaborative space to reflect upon and address the presenting difficulties.
I specialise in psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy, where the history of the individual, cultural background and net of relationships, are kept in mind, to throw light into what might be happening now, so that the individual can feel more empowered to deal with the future. I also draw upon other therapeutic modalities, including cognitive and behavioural approaches, when more direction, structure and the suggestion of strategies are needed, always tailoring treatment to meet individual needs.
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and specialist in Psychotherapy with extensive clinical experience.
My undergraduate was in Psychology and since 1998 I have worked in mental health services. I obtained a Master's degree in Psychotherapy in 2003 and became qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2010.
I have worked in a variety of mental health and social care settings with children, young people and adults.
I have provided specialists psychological assessments and treatment to a wide variety of difficulties, ranging from anxiety and depression to psychosis. I have worked in different settings, such as inpatient hospitals, in rehabilitation in the community and in schools.
I have also experience working therapeutically with neurodiversity, with individuals who have experienced adversity in childhood and with individuals working for the corporate sector.
