About me

Dr Kush Joshi is the Medical Director at Carter & George. He completed his consultant training in Sport, Exercise, and Musculoskeletal Medicine in London, training at leading institutions including University College London Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and the Royal London Hospital.

Dr Joshi specialises in the non-surgical management of joint, tendon, and muscle conditions. With over a decade of working in elite sport, his goal is to deliver world-class care to patients of all activity levels from the experience he has gained. He has research interest in the management of joint disorders and the immune system and its impact on recovery and health.

His current NHS practice is Homerton University Hospital and has previously held consultant posts at Oxford University Hospitals (Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre) and the Ministry of Defence. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.

Dr Joshi has served as tournament physician at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for six years and has also worked with the Lawn Tennis Association, Chelsea FC, and Saracens RFC.

Most recently, he was the Chief Medical Officer for Canoe Slalom during Team GB's most successful medal haul in the discipline at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
