About me
Dr Kush Joshi is a highly experienced Consultant in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine specialising in the non-surgical treatment of upper and lower limb conditions.
He treats shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot problems, including sports and everyday injuries, tendon and muscle pain, osteoarthritis, overuse conditions and persistent joint pain. His focus is on accurate diagnosis, pain relief, restoring movement and helping patients return to normal daily activities.
Dr Joshi trained at leading UK hospitals including University College London Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare and the Royal London Hospital. His NHS practice is based at Homerton University Hospital, and he has previously held consultant roles at Oxford University Hospitals (Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre) and within the Ministry of Defence.
He also brings over a decade of experience in elite sport, having worked with Chelsea FC and Saracens RFC, served as Tournament Physician at Wimbledon, and most recently as Chief Medical Officer for Canoe Slalom during Team GB's record-breaking success at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games � applying the same high standards of care to every patient.
Dr Joshi has a particular interest in joint health, osteoarthritis and recovery from tendon and muscle injuries, and offers evidence-based, personalised treatment plans. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.
