About me

Mr Dorward is a senior Neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London. He has extensive experience in spinal surgery and brain & spine tumours. Special interests include minimal access techniques in Neurosurgery including endoscopy and image-guided surgery. Spinal surgery including cervical disc replacement. Endoscopic pituitary
and central skull base surgery.
Mr Dorward runs a research programme to investigate special ultrasound techniques developed to distinguish tumour margin from brain tissue during surgical removal. He is the Endoscopy Lead and Clinical Governance Lead for Neurosurgery at Queen Square.
