About me

Mr Stanojcic is an experienced UK dual-trained ophthalmic surgeon and optometrist with fellowships in corneal and cataract surgery from Moorfields Eye Hospital, St. Thomas' Hospital, Addenbrooke's Hospital and a research Doctorate (MD) from King's College London on modern cataract surgery.

As an anterior segment, cataract and refractive surgery specialist, Mr Stanojcic provides a comprehensive service to his patients including premium cataract surgery, laser refractive surgery, keratoconus treatments, corneal transplant surgery as well as blepharitis treatment including IPL (intense pulsed light).

Mr Stanojcic has produced a series of scientific research publications as first author in high impact peer-reviewed journals including some landmark studies such as the world's first one-year results from a randomized controlled trial into laser-assisted cataract surgery. Mr Stanojcic has experience in conducting and leading research projects overseen by the National Institute for Health and Research.

Mr Stanojcic is a winner of the prestigious national Duke-Elder prize in ophthalmology. He has a keen interest in education and training of medical students and ophthalmic surgeons and is a Skills Faculty Trainer at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. In his NHS post as Anterior segment/Cornea Lead at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, Mr Stanojcic teaches students from Cambridge University Medical School.
