About me
Katharine Unwin specialises in adult neurological rehabilitation and has a specialist interest in voice.
Katharine graduated from City University in London in 2011 and has since worked in neuro rehab and run voice clinics in a variety of locations including Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. She most recently worked for Hobbs Rehabilitation before leaving to set up independently.
Gaining a wealth of experience working with neurological rehabilitation, she has worked in acute hospital settings, outpatient clinics, intensive inpatient rehabilitation, and also in the community, visiting people in their own homes.
With an initial degree in Music from the University of York where she specialised in singing, Katharine's combined expertise in the voice both as a performer and as a clinician makes her extremely well-placed to work with voice difficulties and combines two passions.
Katharine is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has an enhanced DBS check.
