About me
Having trained in various modalities, Oana uses an integrative approach, shaping her interventions to your unique therapeutic needs. Oana has over 12 years of experience working with young people and adults. While Oana's ideology is based on Humanistic theory, her approach is trauma-informed. She is a fully trained eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist; an innovative psychotherapy that uses bilateral stimulation to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. Additionally, she incorporates somatic techniques to help process the trauma effects stored in the body, CBT, Existential techniques and elements of mindfulness and compassion.
As a systemic practitioner, Oana is confident working with couples, individuals and families.
