About me

I am an accredited BACP Person Centred counsellor based in Horsham. I understand how difficult the first step can be when making contact with a counsellor.

I work with adults and young people aged 11+.
Sometimes life can feel like a constant struggle. Counselling gives you the space and opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings.

I offer a calm, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to make sense of the problems you may be facing right now. I aim to help you find ways of coping better with the present, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, increasing your self-esteem and confidence, thus allowing you to move forward to a more fulfilled way of living.

I strongly believe in the power we all have within ourselves to grow and make a difference in our lives. As your therapist I will aim to facilitate and encourage you to trust yourself, make your own choices and find your own answers. 
 
In the past I have worked for the NHS Youth Counselling Service working with young people aged 11-24 (NHS Trust Surrey and Borders) in a busy GP’s Surgery. I have also worked as a Counsellor in a Place2Be school working with 5-11year olds.

Areas of interest

BACP Accredited counsellor. I treat depression, anxiety, self-harming, low self esteem, eating disorders and may other struggles that life throws at us.
