About me
Mr Dell'Aversana is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon who specializes in vitreoretinal and cataract surgery. He performs numerous procedures each year and plays a significant role in training prospective general and vitreoretinal consultants.
He obtained his medical and surgical qualifications in Italy and later pursued further subspecialty training in the UK. Mr Dell'Aversana has completed three fellowships in the UK, focusing on cataract surgery and the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases. Notably, he completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital under the supervision of Mr. R. Wong, Mr. A. Laidlaw, and Professor T. Williamson.
Currently, Mr. Dell'Aversana serves as the Cataract and Vitreoretinal Consultant at Cheltenham General Hospital.
