About me

Hello, thank you for viewing my page. To introduce myself, I am an approachable, compassionate Clinical Psychologist based in Essex, with many years’ experience of working with people across the life span in the NHS, voluntary sector and private practice. I am currently offering online (or telephone) sessions only.

I passionately believe in matching the right therapeutic approach to a person so that I can best help you, therefore I will meet you for an assessment before deciding which therapeutic model to use. I am a specialist in Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, however, I will integrate a wide range of approaches to provide the right support to suit the person and circumstances.

I provide a safe and confidential space for you to freely express your concerns, and to be guided through making improvements to your quality of life, even when there are certain aspects of distress which cannot be changed (e.g. improving quality of life alongside a long term health condition). This may include challenging some of your thoughts and behaviours which could be causing a block in getting your life to where you want to be.
