About me
About Me:
A warm welcome. It's not easy admitting we need a helping hand in life. I guess if you are reading this, you may be feeling anxious, and overwhelmed, lost, confused and in need of some support. I can offer you a warm spiritual approach, with an empathetic listening ear and a confidential, non-judgemental space to work within. I work with Individual clients and Couples. The counselling journey can be a catalyst for positive change and improved relationships. I am passionate about supporting and helping people reach their potential, so they can feel valued and understood, finding the courage to become the best version of themselves.
I am an experienced fully Qualified, BACP Accredited Psychodynamic Counsellor, offering daytime or evening counselling sessions. I work mindfully within the BACP Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy of professional standards and attend regular clinical supervision and CPD events.
My experience includes working with a diverse range of clients within the Charity Sector and Private Practice (Adults, Older Adults, Young People and Students). I also work with Couples.
In addition, I have worked with young people, as a Volunteer Mentor within Hertfordshire County Council and as a Victim Support Worker helping victims of crime and trauma. I am currently working with students at the Counselling Foundation as a Volunteer Mentor. I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
