About me
Tahseen is a consultant hand and peripheral nerve surgeon.
His NHS and research work is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham where he treats complex hand and nerve trauma in the largest hand and nerve unit in the UK.
He has a specialist interest in nerve disorders including, nerve compression, brachial plexus injury, iatrogenic nerve injury, thoracic outlet syndrome, lower limb nerve injury, spasticity and nerve pain.
He graduated in Birmingham and trained in London, Cambridge and Birmingham.
He undertook hand, micro and nerve surgery fellowships in the US, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
He continues to teach and train nerve surgery fellows, and has an active research programme with involvement in national clinical trials.
