About me
I am experienced consultant clinical psychologist with over 25 years working in the NHS.
I have held senior clinical and leadership roles.
I work in a person centered and collaborative way to help clients understand and formulate their difficulties. I use a variety of approaches but tend to draw on the relational model, cognitive analytic therapy to help people understand their difficulties and how this impacts on their relationships. I also draw on cognitive behaviour therapy, compassion focused therapy, mindfulness and radically open dialectical behaviour therapy.
During my extensive time in the NHS I have seen clients with a range of different difficulties and I tailor my approach to their individual needs.
I am personable, friendly, and always keen to enhance my practice according to the needs of the person.
