About me

Hi, I am Daphne. I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist. I am also an accredited CBT therapist. I have over 10 years of experience in providing psychological therapy to people experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, stress and burnout.

My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I do however tailor therapy to individual needs drawing upon the clinical applications of the Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, (DBT) Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

As a therapist who primarily believes that a secure attachment is a decisive protective factor in life, I greatly value the therapeutic relationship to build a safe space and to promote change. I am particularly passionate about working with the long-term consequences of traumatic experiences, including abuse and neglect.
