About me
I am an independent counselling psychologist based near Liverpool Street in Central London. I bring warmth, compassion and humour to my work and have interests in addictions, anxiety (especially OCD), depression, gender identity, ADHD, autism and bereavement. I am trained in EMDR which I use extensively to treat complex trauma. I have worked in NHS, charity and private sectors and also practice as an associate psychologist at a leading Harley Street clinic. Having also worked at board level in public, private and charity sectors I am able to offer career and life coaching.
I will work with you to address specific issues preventing you from feeling happy and fulfilled. Equally, I can help you to identify your goals if you are struggling to understand why you are feeling the way that you do. This may involve brief, focussed work, or a more exploratory approach to reach a greater understanding of yourself and your needs.
I will explore with you what has brought you to therapy and help to identify your goals. I work humanistically, psychodynamically and cognitive-behaviourally (CBT), drawing from these modalities to develop a tailored approach to meet your specific needs. I welcome enquiries from neuro-divergent clients, appreciating the life-perspective that they bring.
