About me

There is no doubt that life can be overwhelming and challenging at times. Therapy is dedicated time, set aside by you and the therapist, to talk things through together. It might involve thinking about life events, both past and present. It can empower, by helping you to understand yourself better. It can help you to re-evaluate things and turn perceived problems into personal growth.

Sometimes an individual may need support through a difficult time in their life by discussing coping strategies, other people might want to facilitate some change by setting personal goals. I will work with you to identify your particular needs and together we will work towards an outcome that helps you to feel calmer and more in control. As individuals we are different, and have different needs. As an Integrative therapist I am able to draw on more than one type of approach in order to work in the best interests of my clients.

My goal as a therapist is to help the individual find their own clarity, seek their own path. My role is to walk beside my client along this, sometimes short, sometimes long journey. I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Areas of interest

I have a particular interest in sibling bereavement and the impact of the perimenopause as a life stage. However, I am happy to offer support to any individual who may be struggling with the following:
