About me

Dr Gurdip Azad is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based in London and Bromley specialising exclusively in prostate cancer Radiotherapy and advanced systemic cancer treatments.

She consults at The Cromwell Hospital, HCA at The Shard and Guy's Hospital.

Her practice focuses on delivering highly precise, personalised treatment using state-of-the-art technologies, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), MR-Linac adaptive radiotherapy and VMAT.

Dr Azad is committed to achieving excellent cancer control while minimising side effects. She routinely incorporates advanced protective techniques, such as SpaceOAR hydrogel where appropriate, to help preserve bowel and bladder function.

Known for her calm and meticulous approach, she provides thoughtful, individualised care and works closely with leading urologists, radiologists and specialist nurses to ensure seamless, coordinated treatment.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Azad holds academic positions at GKT School of Medicine and King's College London. Her research in advanced imaging has received international recognition, including the Alavi-Mandell Award.
