About me

Nicholas Hutt is a specialist orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon based in Gloucestershire. He qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2007 and undertook his early surgical training in London, Nottingham and Brighton before undertaking his Orthopaedic specialist training in the Northern Deanery, where he developed his interest in foot and ankle surgery.

He undertook advanced specialist fellowship training at the renowned orthopaedic centres of Southmead Hospital, Bristol and Wrightington where he gained expertise in the management of the wide range of foot and ankle surgery before being appointed as a consultant orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Hutt offers comprehensive assessment and management of foot and ankle conditions, including the management of bunions and toe deformities, the management of foot and ankle arthritis and deformity, as well as the management of sports injury, ligament and tendon disease. He performs both open and arthroscopic (key-hole) surgical techniques.

Mr Hutt has presented at national and international conferences and is an active member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society and has completed a diploma of Sport and Exercise Medicine at Bath University
