Dr Yerramasu is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist specialising in cardiac imaging, heart rhythm management, and cardiac pacing, offering expert assessment and treatment for a wide range of heart conditions. He has been practising as an NHS consultant since August 2016, delivering high?quality, evidence?based cardiac care to patients across Edinburgh and the surrounding region.

Extensive international training and expertise: Dr Yerramasu completed his primary medical education in India, followed by rigorous postgraduate training in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he developed a strong foundation in general medicine and cardiology.
He has undertaken advanced specialist training in multiple internationally recognised centres, including: A Fellowship in Cardiac Imaging in Washington, DC, USA � providing in?depth expertise in echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and advanced multimodality imaging, Clinical research in cardiac imaging at the Wellington Hospital, London � contributing to developments in modern, non?invasive heart imaging, Specialist Cardiology Training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh � completing his higher training with a focus on cardiac imaging and pacing.
