About me

I am a warm, empathic Clinical Psychologist with specialist expertise in neurorehabilitation, complex childhood trauma, single?event trauma, and EMDR therapy. I support individuals and families adjusting to neurological conditions, traumatic health events and the emotional, cognitive and relational changes that follow.

I work with people experiencing acquired and traumatic brain injury, stroke, functional neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions and complex medical presentations. I also provide systemic and family interventions, helping families understand neurological changes, strengthen communication and manage role transitions.

Alongside my neurorehabilitation work, I have extensive experience supporting adults with complex childhood trauma, single?incident trauma, attachment?related difficulties and post?traumatic stress. I use EMDR, ACT, CFT and Systemic/Family Therapy, tailoring therapy to each person's needs, history and rehabilitation goals.

I also work with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD and learning differences, offering sensitive, strengths?based and accessible psychological support.

With nineteen years' experience in NHS inpatient, community and specialist neurorehabilitation services, my practice is compassionate, evidence?based and focused on helping people move toward meaningful recovery.
