About me

Claire is a Clinical Psychologist, with over 20 years experience of working in clinical psychology services across the NHS. She has worked with a wide range of presenting difficulties, with children, adolescents and adults and is also skilled in adapting approaches to support autistic adults and people with a learning disability.

She encourages collaborative formulation (together developing an understanding of why difficulties are experienced) and uses a range of therapeutic models and approaches, drawing particularly on systemic ideas and her training in EMDR.

Claire also provides training and supervision to staff and other professionals, teaches on a D Clin Psychol academic programme, and is trained in Autistic Spectrum Disorder Assessment (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, ADOS).

Claire is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered to practice with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
