About me

Andrew is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon practising at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. He specialises in shoulder and elbow surgery with his practice encompassing arthroscopic and mini-invasive surgery through to 3D planning arthroplasty.

Training

Andrew qualified from Imperial College Medical school in 2006 and spent his junior doctor training in London and the South-East. He gained higher surgical education in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery before becoming the Upper Limb Fellow at the Royal Surrey Hospital, encompassing a practice in arthroscopy, arthroplasty and upper limb trauma.

He then completed a prestigious fellowship at the international acclaimed Wrightington Upper Limb Unit. Here he further developed from a high volume tertiary centre renowned for complex primary and revision shoulder and elbow arthroplasty as well as complex soft tissue reconstruction cases.

Andrew now helps run the Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship programme at the Royal Surrey Hospital, responsible for training fully qualified orthopaedic surgeons to become shoulder and elbow surgeons.
