About me
I'm a Senior Counselling Psychologist working in the NHS and in private practice in central London (The City).
I have experience offering psychological support to a wide range of mental health difficulties in many settings. I enjoy working with adults of all backgrounds and difficulties. My approach is integrative and evidence-based. I am experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches, including mentalisation-based therapy, cognitive analytic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focussed therapy, and dynamic interpersonal therapy. By incorporating this wealth of knowledge, I can therefore shape my approach to the personal circumstances and needs and goals of the clients I work with.
I have developed my skills working in adult psychotherapy services, particularly within complex needs teams in the NHS. As a result, I am skilled in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of emotional and psychosocial difficulties. In my current NHS role, I support NHS staff with their psychological wellbeing, including managing stress and burnout, dealing with anxiety and low mood, difficulties with relationships and managing communication and difficult conversations.
