About me
Mr Boddu is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with a specialisation in complex hip and knee arthroplasty. He was born and raised in India and completed his medical graduation in Vizag. Afterwards, he pursued post-graduation in orthopaedic surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of the leading medical institutions in India.
Mr Boddu's passion for orthopaedic surgery led him to conduct research in the field of orthopaedic biomechanics at Imperial College in London. He underwent registrar training in London and fellowship training in HMR, Montreal and King's College Hospital, London. This has provided him with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the latest surgical techniques and advancements in the field of lower limb arthroplasty. He published 17 research papers in peer reviewed orthopaedic journals and presented extensively at national and international level. He is a reviewer of the Bone and Joint Journal.
In addition to his expertise in hip and knee arthroplasty, Mr Boddu has a special interest in Artificial Intelligence and its potential to revolutionise the field of medicine. He is co-founder of IMERA.AI and holds patents for developing AI algorithms for medical imaging analysis.
Outside of work, Mr Boddu enjoys playing badminton and chess, both of which require precision and strategy, much like his surgical practice. He also believes in leading a healthy lifestyle, which helps him to maintain a balance between his professional and personal life.
With his strong educational background, extensive training, and commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments in his field, Mr Boddu is a highly skilled and dedicated orthopaedic surgeon who provides excellent care to his patients.
