About me

Mr Harrison is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising exclusively in adult hand and wrist surgery. He is known for his precise surgical skills, compassionate approach, and commitment to delivering high?quality, evidence?based care for both routine and complex upper?limb conditions.

After graduating from the University of Dundee, he completed specialist orthopaedic training in Yorkshire and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma & Orthopaedics. He then undertook advanced hand and wrist fellowships in Teesside and at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland, gaining dual?discipline expertise taught by leading orthopaedic and plastic hand surgeons.

Appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in NHS Fife in 2019, Mr Harrison manages elective and emergency hand and wrist conditions, working closely with specialist hand therapists to provide tailored, coordinated care. He is actively involved in surgical training and education and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume).
