About me

Esther is passionate about developing skills for life through the delivery of evidence-based therapies. By working collaboratively Esther aims to address the difficulties someone is having (such as low mood, anxiety, stress or trauma) and get them to a point at which they are not only not struggling with the difficulty but flourishing.
Typically clients recover from their mental health difficulty and leave treatment with a considerably improved quality of life which is sustainable because they have learnt how to look after their mental health for themselves going forwards.

Areas of interest

In line with NICE recommendations, Esther is trained to treat all common mental health disorders such as low mood, anxiety, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder; social anxiety; health anxiety; specific phobias etc.
Areas of special interest are trauma; low self-esteem; depression; generalised anxiety disorder (GAD); isolation; complicated bereavement; body dysmorphia; neurodiversity and menopause.
As well as being a qualified CBT, IPT and EMDR therapist Esther also has extensive additional trainings and interest in the third wave modalities of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Compassion Focused Therapy; and Mindfulness.
