About me

Dr Maissara Al-Rikabi is an experienced Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia consultant at Kings College Hospitals Foundation Trust. He is an expert with 23 years of experience, including international experience in complex chronic pain cases, including shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain, radiculopathy pain, headaches and migraines, abdomen and pelvic pain, cervical, thoracic and lower back pain, complex regional pain syndrome, whiplash.
With international experience working in pain medicine and anaesthesia in Canada, the Middle East, Belgium, Ireland, the USA and the U.K. He achieved the Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) and the Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist degrees in the USA.

Dr Al-Rikabi specialises in managing acute and chronic pain with a specialist interest in complex regional pain syndrome, post-amputation pain and phantom limb pain, abdomen and pelvic pain, cervical, thoracic and lower back pain and whiplash injuries. He provides assessment for clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
