About me
Dr. Kerry Aston is a fully qualified UK-trained consultant rheumatologist, registered with the General Medical Council.
Dr Aston studied medicine at Queen’s University Belfast and trained in Rheumatology at Musgrave Park Hospital. She holds a postgraduate diploma in sports and exercise medicine (distinction), allowing her to offer a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Dr Aston provides comprehensive services in adult rheumatology and musculoskeletal conditions. Her expertise covers rapid diagnosis and treatment of various inflammatory arthritis conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis), soft tissue disorders (frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, etc.), connective tissue disorders, and osteoporosis.
Dr Aston is a recognised Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Ireland, a member of the Royal College of Physicians, as well as a member of both the British Society for Rheumatology and the Irish Society for Rheumatology.
Dr Aston believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. She has undertaken further training with the Institute for Functional Medicine (AFMCP), enabling her to identify and manage the root causes of common chronic conditions and symptoms.
