About me
Dr Ayob is a consultant dermatologist with expertise in a wide range of dermatological conditions in adults, including eczema, acne, psoriasis, vasculitis/connective tissue diseases, urticaria and skin cancer. She has a specialist interest in complex medical dermatology, and was the lead clinician for the biologics service in Nottingham within the NHS. She also regularly assesses moles and skin lesions, ranging from benign skin lesions such as warts, skin tags, cysts and sun damage, to skin cancers e.g. BCC, SCC and melanomas.
Dr Ayob graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2006 and completed her medical training in the North-East and Yorkshire regions, gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. She completed her dermatology specialist training in Yorkshire in 2014. To further strengthen her knowledge of cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, she achieved a Master's degree in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction in 2022. She is on the UK Specialist Register for Dermatology and is registered with all the major healthcare insurance providers in the UK.
Please note that Dr Ayob no longer performs surgery for facial skin cancers or removal of facial cysts. Following initial assessment, she is happy to refer patients to plastic surgery or dermatological surgeon colleagues as appropriate.
Dr Ayob offers consultations at the Park Hospital in Nottingham.
