About me
I am a Consultant in Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgery at University Hospitals Birmingham. I completed my surgical training in London. I was then selected for the prestigious Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton which is an international centre of excellence for bariatric surgery. This has provided me with extensive experience in both upper gastrointestinal and general surgery.
My primary interest is in all aspects of benign upper gastrointestinal and general surgery. In particular my focus is upon the use of keyhole surgery (laparoscopic) techniques. I perform gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) and hernia repair surgery. I also undertake operations for management of acid reflux disease and bariatric surgery procedures.
