This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr Bhamy Hariprasad Shenoy is a Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Ophthalmic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH), where he has practised since 2018. He is the Cataract Lead at MREH (since January 2026), responsible for leading and delivering high-quality cataract care in one of the UK's busiest specialist eye centres.
He is also the College Tutor at MREH, overseeing the training and supervision of over 20 resident doctors, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and surgical excellence.
Mr Shenoy offers expert, patient-focused care for both children and adults, combining advanced surgical techniques with a calm and reassuring approach. He is particularly experienced in:
* Cataract surgery (including complex and high-risk cases)
* Squint (strabismus) surgery, including minimally invasive small-incision techniques
* Paediatric eye conditions, including cataract, glaucoma, and developmental disorders
* Watery eyes, keratoconus, and corneal conditions
He completed his specialist training at internationally renowned centres, including the LV Prasad Eye Institute (India) and Great Ormond Street Hospital (London), before undertaking advanced fellowships at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
Mr Shenoy is known for clear communication, precision surgery, and excellent outcomes, with a strong focus on ensuring patients and families feel confident and well-informed throughout their treatment.
An award-winning trainer, he received the �Best Clinical Supervisor and Surgical Trainer� award in 2022, and continues to be actively involved in teaching, research, and international presentations.
