About me

I am a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Frimley Heath NHS Foundation Trust.

I specialise in General and Colorectal surgery. This includes colon (bowel) cancer, inflammatory bowel disease surgery, proctology (anal fissure, skin tags, anal fistula and haemorrhoids/piles), pilonidal sinus disease, abdominal hernia, groin hernia and emergency general surgery.

I undertake lower gastrointestinal endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy) including the endoscopic removal of colorectal polyps.

After completing my surgical training in 2020, I have undertaken two fellowships. This included the Royal College of Surgeons' advanced laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at Frimley Hospital, where I now routinely perform and train minimal access surgical approaches (laparoscopic or keyhole surgery) for bowel resections. I also have a particular interest in surgery for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. I spent seven months working in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada.

I have completed a PhD at Imperial College London where I am now an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer.
