Research interests

Principal investigator of a randomised control feasibility study undertaken jointly at the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital and University of East Anglia. Entitled “PrEPARe”
(Preoperative Exercise Protocol to Aid Recovery) for Radical Cystectomy, this feasibility study aims to look at the role of “pre-habilitation” in patients undergoing major uro-oncological surgery and its role in enhanced recovery pathways.

Co-investigator for “SUSPEND” trial. This is a recently completed randomised controlled multi-center study looking at role of alpha blockers vs. calcium channel blockers vs. placebo in treatment of small ureteric stones
