Research interests
Principal investigator of a randomised control feasibility study undertaken jointly at the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital and University of East Anglia. Entitled “PrEPAReâ€
(Preoperative Exercise Protocol to Aid Recovery) for Radical Cystectomy, this feasibility study aims to look at the role of “pre-habilitation†in patients undergoing major uro-oncological surgery and its role in enhanced recovery pathways.
Co-investigator for “SUSPEND†trial. This is a recently completed randomised controlled multi-center study looking at role of alpha blockers vs. calcium channel blockers vs. placebo in treatment of small ureteric stones
