About me

Hello - I am Dr Carla Rainbow, and I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, and a registered Counselling Psychotherapist.

I am highly trained in a number of psychological models so that I can ensure my service is as unique and individual as you are.

Working with me you will always be treated with respect, compassion, and confidentiality, and you will receive a friendly, effective, and fully insured service.

Amongst numerous qualifications, I hold two higher level diplomas, two undergraduate level degrees (first class), a postgraduate diploma, a master's degree (distinction) and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I am a registered member of the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) entitled to hold the titles of both Practitioner and Clinical psychologist. I am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a certified member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) on their accredited register, and a registered member of the Society for Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. I am also registered as a EuroPsy meaning my qualifications are recognised across Europe and I am on the BPS register for approved supervisors (RAPPS).

This all means that not only am I qualified to the very highest standard, but I also work to the highest standards set out by these professional bodies.
