Professor Wardley is an internationally renowned breast cancer expert and key opinion leader with

- 25+ years experience conceiving, designing, building and leading breast cancer research, education and service innovations in NHS, and implementing advances into practice.
- a clinical entrepreneur, people-centred authentic leader, medical director, and political adviser, with
- 25+ years experience conceiving, designing, building and leading integrated research, education and service innovations in NHS, including spin-outs and start-ups.
- a cross-sector boundary global leader specialising in national and international trials, many of which have led to major advances in breast cancer outcomes for patients, he led implementation of many of these advances into NHS services developments through commissioning initiatives nationally.
Challenges to advancing his model of care, introduced in Greater Manchester 2001, within NHS led to the founding of Manchester Breast Centre in 2005 and Cancer Services Limited in March 2020
He has a vision to change the way the NHS thinks, acts, and operates through, having built major partnerships within and across the NHS and attracted and built collaborative partnerships with Life-sciences companies, third sector and academia.
He works with global investors, leaders and organizations in cross sector collaborations to help build the healthcare system stronger and better.
