About me

Miss Smita Sinha is a Consultant Gynaecologist with 15 years of experience working in Gynaecology.
Having grown up in Bristol, Smita studied medicine at Imperial College London, graduating in 2005. Her passion for Women’s healthcare began in medical school and after her foundation years, she applied successfully for specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London.
Her time in training was enriched by gaining experience working in busy Teaching hospitals and learning from many Gynaecologist who were experts in their sub-specialities.
After completing her training, Smita was appointed as a substantive Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2018 at Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
Whilst here she ran a specialist clinic in benign Vulval conditions, diagnosing and caring for patients with vulval skin conditions and concerns about vulval pain.
Throughout her career, Smita has gained experience caring for women during their peri and menopausal time, including those with complex medical and surgical histories.
