About me
Mr Alastair Platt has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 2001.
Mr Platt trained at Cambridge University and Oxford University before going on to hold junior posts in Bath, Canterbury and Oxford. His senior plastic surgery training was undertaken in units throughout Yorkshire. He undertook a fellowship in Plastic Surgery in Adelaide, Australia.
Mr Platt is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
Mr Platt has regularly presented at national and international meetings and has over 70 publications and presentations in the field of Plastic Surgery.
Mr Platt offers cosmetic surgery for individuals who feel the need to revise or change the appearance, structure or position of their features which may otherwise be considered as outside the broad range of "normal." The decision to undergo any cosmetic procedure should not be taken lightly and it is essential to have informed and realistic expectations of the results. Patients are always seen by Mr Platt for their initial consultation and a care plan is made.
Mr Platt is supported by a dedicated team of professionals. Clinics and operations are carried out at The Spire Hospital, Hull and East Riding in Anlaby and St Hugh's Hospital in Grimsby. His Anaesthetists are all consultants and are members of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
Appointments can be arranged through Mr Platt´s private secretary Gale Bell on 01482 841228.
