About me
Dr Ahmed is a Consultant of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (with special interest in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia) in Leeds Teaching Hospitals and Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine, Leeds University.
Dr Ahmed completed a fellowship of trauma and acute pain management in Cork University Hospital, Cork, Ireland in 2020.
Dr Ahmed completed a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK in 2021. Dr Ahmed started working as a Consultant in Leeds Teaching Hospitals in early 2021. His main areas of interest are cardiothoracic anaesthesia, intensive care, regional anaesthesia, medical education, and research.
Dr Ahmed has the following qualifications
1- Masters of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management 2014
2- European Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care 2015
3- Fellowship of The College of Anaesthetists of Ireland 2016
3- Medical Doctorate Degree with thesis in Cardiac Anaesthesia 2017
