Mr El-Daly graduated from St George's University, London in 2007, before beginning his training on the Royal London training programme. He completed his fellowship training in France at Pitié Salpêtrière, Paris's largest teaching hospital. He also received dual fellowship training in complex trauma and lower limb arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements) from Paris's renowned Pitié Salpêtrière University Hospital, where he gained advanced skills in 3D CT guided navigation of pelvic and complex trauma surgery, in addition to the direct anterior hip approach.

He is actively involved in research and has published over 18 peer-reviewed articles and 3 book chapters. Additionally, he has given 21 presentations, both nationally and internationally. He also has a passion for medical education and holds a professional teaching certificate in health and medical education.
