About me
Miss Krupa Madhvani treats women with a wide range of gynaecological conditions, as well as issues in early pregnancy using ultrasound to give a contemporaneous diagnosis and guide treatment options.
Background
Miss Madhvani completed her general training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016 and following this she has undertaken two advanced fellowships.
The first fellowship was in minimal access gynaecology at the Dorset Endometriosis Centre to train in advanced laparoscopic techniques. During this time she began her research thesis (medical doctorate), which is ongoing and was funded by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), in the national uptake of laparoscopic hysterectomy. She is regularly invited to present her work nationally and internationally.
The second fellowship was in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound at The Gynaecology Diagnostic and Treatment Unit, University College Hospital London, which is one of the leading centres for gynaecological ultrasound both in the UK and worldwide. This specialist training means she is able to diagnose and manage complex early pregnancy problems including, caesarean section scar ectopics, as well as diagnose severe endometriosis on ultrasound scan, perform 3D ultrasound and diagnose and manage a wide range of gynaecological conditions including menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and fibroids.
