About me
Dr. Simon FitzGerald is a consultant anaesthetist at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare, appointed in 2021. He trained at St. George's Hospital Medical School and completed postgraduate anaesthetic training in South East London. He undertook advanced training in obstetric and regional anaesthesia at Guy's & St. Thomas' Hospital, where he was also an Education Fellow.
Simon provides anaesthesia for breast surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics, general surgery, trauma, and emergency cases. He is an educational supervisor, lead for SGUL students rotating through Anaesthetics, teaches regional anaesthesia and instructs on ALS and CCrISP courses.
