About me

My main area of interest is in skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell skin cancer and squamous cell skin cancer. I am the senior surgeon on the Oxford skin cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) and manage all forms of skin cancer but predominantly melanoma, BCC and SCC. I have a special interest in sentinel lymph node biopsy and have undertaken over 5
1000 procedures on patients from all over the UK.

I have special expertise in the removal of benign but symptomatic lumps and bumps, such as cysts, lipomas, moles and tags.

I was Chair of the Thames Valley Strategic Cancer Network skin cancer group (5 Years). I participate in national and international research projects in skin cancer. I am an invited speaker at local and national meetings in skin cancer.

I have expertise in dermoscopy and skin cancer diagnosis and co-founded the International Dermoscopy Course for Plastic Surgeons now in its fifth year.
