About me

I am a consultant cardiologist with a subspeciality interest in cardiovascular imaging and preventative cardiology. This includes echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. In addition to my clinical work I undertake cardiovascular academic work at the University of Liverpool.

I have extensive training in multimodality cardiac imaging and perform high numbers of echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI in my routine clinical practice. I specilaise in prevention of cardiovascular disease and believe in an individualised approach to healthcare using the latest technology and evidence.

I have held management and leadership positions throughout my career. I am currently governance and audit lead for my NHS Trust.

My academic interest include cardiometabolic disease, atherosclerosis and HIV and cardiovascular disease.
