About me

Dennis Danso is one of the senior obstetricians & Gynaecologists at Frimley Park Hospital, with special expertise in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Emergency Gynaecology/Early Pregnancy Care, Gynaecological Ultrasound, Colposcopy, Vaginal surgeon and Menopause.

Known for his friendly and calm approach, Dennis is a highly skilled professional who always strives for excellence in his work. As a doctor who has practised in 3 different continents, over the past 31 years, he has gained a wide range of experience within this field.

He works in multidisciplinary teams to care for patients with Fibroids, vaginal prolapses and abnormal smears.

He obtained his medical qualification from the University College London Medical School in 1995 and completed his postgraduate specialist training in the Oxford Deanery in 2006. He has since practised in Australia, West Africa and the United Kingdom. Dennis has had opportunity over the years to show leadership as Clinical Director, undergraduate Women’s Health Programme Director and Postgraduate Trainer in Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has also been the RCOG International Representative Committee (IRC) Deputy Chair/Secretary for Ghana, West Africa since 2016.

Dennis also advises clinical colleagues on matters within my sphere of expertise and liaise with other health care organisations as required.

His patients, in the main, recover excellently well post treatment and get one of the best results of their chosen treatment. He provides care with keen commitment, compassion, collaboration and excellence.

Dennis lives in Berkshire with his wife and 3 Children. He enjoys listening to music, eating out with friends/family and reading.
