About me
Mira has worked as a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (RMCH) since 2016. She is a member of the European Society of Paediatric Otolaryngology (ESPO) and the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology (BAPO). Her sub-specialisations include the management of general ENT conditions. Mira has an active research interest and completed a PhD in cancer immunology in 2013. She has authored seven book chapters on paediatric ENT and has presented at numerous clinical and scientific meetings. She is an Advanced Paediatric Life Support instructor, is part of the Paediatric National Tracheostomy Safety Project, and is a named champion on the Improving Tracheostomy Care/Global Tracheostomy Collaborative.
Areas of interest
My sub-specialty areas of interest include general paediatric ENT (tonsillitis, snoring, glue ear, tongue tie, nasal obstruction), sleep disordered breathing, neck lumps and lymphocystic malformations as well as the management of drooling and progressive airway obstruction in children.
