About me

Dr Dhillon attained his medical degree and an honours Bachelor's degree in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Imperial College London. He underwent specialty training in gastroenterology and general internal medicine in the Kent Surrey and Sussex training programme, developing specialist knowledge in inflammatory bowel disease while rotating through Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London.
He underwent further sub-specialist training during a 3-year fellowship post at St Mark's National Bowel Hospital. His research work in the fields of bowel cancer, endoscopy and inflammatory bowel disease have been published widely. He has received awards for outstanding research work including the prestigious European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy research grant. He has also trained in advanced endoscopic techniques for the safe and effective removal of gastrointestinal polyps.
Dr Dhillon was appointed as a Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich where he leads the endoscopic polypectomy service and is also the departmental lead for clinical governance. He is a fully accredited national bowel cancer screening endoscopist and prides himself on performing the highest quality and comfortable day case gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures for both diagnosis and therapy.
