Personal interests

I am dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of children's surgeons in the UK. I was the chairman of the largest training consortium for trainee paediatric surgeons (South East England).I am currently a member of the national Specialist Advisory Committee on paediatric surgical training. I will take over the presidency of the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons in June 2026.

Awards received

I was awarded the gold medal for outstanding performance in the Intercollegiate paediaric Surgical Examination at the end of my training.
I was awarded the Royal College of Surgeons of England Medal for my contribution to the work and reputation of the College in March 2026.
