About me
I qualified in Medicine in 1989 from University of Edinburgh, and trained in ophthalmology in Edinburgh and Sydney, Australia. A consultant ophthalmologist since 2001, I practice in both general and specialty adult and paediatric ophthalmology in Aberdeen and the Shire, based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Children's Hospital. Independent practice is at Albyn where I treat the same conditions I regularly see in NHS practice. I am delighted to be able to provide a high quality, personal and bespoke service for private patients, and can be contacted easily. Regularly audited results of my personal surgical outcomes exceed the standards of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
