About me
I was appointed as Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Barnet Hospital, now the Royal Free Hospitals NHS Trust in September 2002. The role included work at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, The Royal Free Hospital, Edgware Community Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. I am currently Clinical Director of General and Colorectal Surgery in my NHS Trust.
I have concentrated on providing a high quality general, colorectal and paediatric surgical service.
I set up a laparoscopic colorectal service at our trust, a TEMS service for removal of rectal polyps and early rectal cancers, and a haemorrhoid surgery service, performing the HALO procedure for symptomatic haemorrhoids.
